Family of Felted Animal Decorations

This set of four charming handmade felted animal tree decorations contains one of each of the following:

• Red footed elephant
• Red footed rhino

Every animal is lovingly handcrafted by a women's co-operative in Kenya. Wool from small-scale Nakuru farmers is hand-cleaned, dyed, and felted, then shaped into elephants and rhino by skilled women working from home in Limuru, Kibera and Rongai – earning an income while balancing family life. Even the stuffing is sustainable, made from clean offcuts donated by a local mattress manufacturer.

Because each decoration is individually made from small batches of hand-dyed felt, no two are ever quite the same. Like their wild counterparts, every decoration is a true one of a kind, with its own unique character and combination of colours.
