This website is operated by Sheldrick Trading Limited ("we", "us" and "our"). Sheldrick Trading Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK and directs maximum distributable profits to the charity annually.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity Number 1103836).

By accessing this website and/or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced within them, including our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping & Delivery page, Customs & Taxes page, and Returns, Exchanges & Refunds page

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time by updating this page.


PRODUCTS

Product descriptions, photographs and colours are provided for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly from those shown.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or withdraw products from sale without notice.


PLACING AN ORDER

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase products from us.

A contract between you and Sheldrick Trading Limited is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email accepting your order.

If we are unable to accept your order, we will notify you and refund any payment received.


PRICE AND PAYMENT

Prices displayed on the website are shown in the selected currency.

VAT is included where applicable for UK orders.

Customers ordering outside the United Kingdom are responsible for any taxes, customs duties, VAT, import charges or other fees imposed by their destination country.

Payment must be made before goods are dispatched.

We accept payment through approved payment providers, including Shopify Payments.


DELIVERY

We aim to dispatch orders within five working days of accepting your order.

Delivery times shown on our website are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

UK orders are generally sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48 or an equivalent service.

International orders are typically delivered within 7–10 working days from dispatch, although delays may occur due to customs procedures, postal services or periods of high demand.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, CUSTOMS AND TAXES

Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees and other charges imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the prices displayed on our website and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Customers are responsible for checking any import restrictions, customs requirements and applicable taxes before placing an order.

Products supplied to customers outside the United Kingdom are generally sold exclusive of VAT.

Pursuant to European Union regulations effective from 1 July 2026, orders shipped from the United Kingdom to European Union member states may be subject to a mandatory flat-rate customs duty of €3 per unique product category contained within an order, together with any applicable VAT, customs duties, import handling fees and carrier processing charges.

Such charges are collected by local customs authorities or postal operators and are outside our control.

CUSTOMS DELAYS

International shipments are subject to customs clearance procedures and local postal services.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, postal operators or events beyond our reasonable control.


LOST OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

If products arrive damaged or are lost in transit, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We will investigate such issues with the relevant carrier and, where appropriate, provide a replacement, repair or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

Consumers have statutory rights to withdraw from purchases within applicable cooling-off periods.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. You may exercise your right of withdrawal by email at support@sheldrickwildlifetrust.org or by using our Cancel or Withdraw Your Order page.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.


FAULTY OR INCORRECT GOODS

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us and we will arrange a replacement, repair or refund in accordance with your legal rights.


REFUSED OR RETURNED SHIPMENTS

If customs duties, taxes or other import charges are not paid and a shipment is refused, abandoned or returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct return shipping costs, customs charges, carrier fees and other expenses incurred from any refund due.


PROHIBITED USES

You must not use the website:

  • for any unlawful purpose;
  • to transmit viruses or malicious code;
  • to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • to infringe intellectual property rights;
  • to collect or misuse personal information relating to others.

We reserve the right to terminate access to the website for breaches of these Terms.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Sheldrick Trading Limited or Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.


OUR LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to the above, we are responsible only for losses which are reasonably foreseeable as a result of our breach of these Terms.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business or losses arising from delays caused by customs authorities, postal operators or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Products supplied by us are intended for domestic and private use only.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
